Harvest Dinner/Community Garden

Green Solutions booklet The booklet is not yet complete.

Earth Day
Mike announced that Friends of Lower Muskingum have scheduled a 5K walk/run on the 22nd in connection with the Marietta event, which is scheduled for April 24. GS needs a committee to organize the composting activity that we are to do as a “Passport” station during the celebration. Jim Grecni, Roger Kalter and Mike Bailey will work on it. Roger Kalter has been in contact with master gardener Pat Lane, who may have seeds or possible plant starts to donate. Susannah Jackson, a student at Meredith Manor, has suggested that the equestrian training school is a good source for aged manure.
5-Year Plan GS will submit action plans from the GS manual as steps to our goal of GS certification, which will be added to the congregation’s 5-year plan.
